My name is Megan, and I am the creator, owner, and designer of The Stationery Tote! I have a degree in Interior Architecture and am married to an architect--design is our passion! When I was planning our wedding in 2006, I scoured the internet for invites to various wedding-related events, but I was never able to find exactly what I was looking for. I began purchasing print-at-home sets and designed my own; in the process, I fell head-over-heels in love with all things stationery! After months of research and preparation, I launched The Stationery Tote on eBay(R) in January 2008. After much success there and through word-of-mouth, I decided to move to my own site, and thus thestationerytote.com came to be!
In addition to running The Stationery Tote, I am also a freelance designer for eInvite.com.
Do you design everything? Do you sell from other retailers?
I design everything you see at The Stationery Tote! While I adore stationery from several other retailers, they often do not provide the option for true customization--something that has become a hallmark here at TST. Your imagination is the only limit to what I can create just for you! Many of the designs you see for sale came about as custom creations for family members and other clients.
I like one of the designs, but I want it in different colors. Is this possible?
Yes! One of the reasons I designed my own stationery for my wedding was because I often found myself in this situation: I loved the design, but not the colors! Because of that, I offer all of my designs as customizable pieces. You can include any color requests when you enter in your personalization, or email before ordering.
I like a design, but I want to change a couple things. Is this possible?
In most instances, yes! For layout/ design changes I ask that you email me at stationerytote@gmail.com beforehand, just to be sure I can do exactly what you're looking for.
Do you offer completely custom designs?
Yes! I will create a custom, from-scratch design just for you--at no extra charge! Email me to get started!
How do I know I can get exactly what I am looking for?
I want you to be completely confident you will receive exactly the design you want! I offer free, watermarked mock proofs, where I edit the design to your initial specifications, so you can take a look and decide if you want to move forward! I also offer unlimited proof updates--I will not move forward until you are completely satisfied!
Which is the main font and which is the second font?
Click here to see an example. The main font is the one found throughout most of the design. The second font is meant as an accent to the main font. Often, the second font is in a different color and/or style than the main font. This applies to most invitations and some note cards. Feel free to contact or email me if you have any questions!
How long does it take to process my order?
I make my own hours and am able to process orders very quickly! Most orders go out within 2-4 business days, but I allow a full week for processing just in case. You can help--the faster you approve your online proof, the faster your order moves into full processing!
When can I expect to see my online proof? What should I do if I have not received my proof within 3 business days?
Proofs are delivered very quickly, most times within 1 business day. However, I do allow up to 3 business days in order to account for unforeseen circumstances.
First thing to do is to check and make sure your proof email did not end up in your spam folder; ensure that you allow emails from stationerytote@gmail.com. If it is not there, email me (be sure to include your order number in the subject) and I will get it to you ASAP!
What shipping options are available?
Currently, all orders are shipped through USPS Priority mail, unless you request otherwise. Cost is based on the value of your order, and shipping cost is automatically selected in your shopping cart.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
Priority mail shipping offers exceptionally fast shipping. Items usually arrive within 2-3 days after processing. At this time, USPS provides Saturday deliveries, allowing for even faster delivery.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
